Dear Ryan,

Before I told my guy friends I felt the same way. I wanted to tell them badly so I decided to do it with the help of my girlfriends that already knew. They were there for support and it showed how people accepted me and it was easy for my guy friends to say, "Alright, cool" Just explain to him that you don't want it to spread around and that you hope he will respect your desires. Most likely they will listen, all of my friends have. Lastly, if you think he will feel uncomfortable when you hug him, then stop. It will take a while for him to get adjusted, just like my friends did. But eventually they will come around and things will be like they never changed.
